Katya has been performing music since the 1960’s throughout Canada and Europe. Her credits are extensive and varied. Katya’s new CD release, “Taking Flight”, is a showcase of her composing and pianistic talents.

Studying piano performance with the great pedagogues, Margaret Parsons-Poole and Clifford Poole has provided Katya with her own approach to performance, reflective of the style and lineage of the late Dame Myra Hess. To create a well-rounded approach to her performing, Katya studied Jazz & Contemporary Music in her post-graduate years.

My passion is sharing my love for music developed through more than 35 years of musical
composing, performing, training and teaching.
